1. Does Botox injection cause skin laxity?

No, if done correctly and with the standard type of Botox, it will not cause skin laxity or eyelid drooping. In fact, regular Botox treatments can prevent wrinkles from deepening.

2. Do the gels move on the face?

No, with the use of standard hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxyl apatite gels, gel displacement does not occur. The complications seen in the past were due to low-quality PAGE gels, which are no longer used by reputable practitioners.

3. Can the eyebrow tattoo be completely erased with a laser session?

No, especially if the tattoo is deep and professionally done. Colors like red, yellow, and brown are less responsive to laser treatments compared to black and navy. Multiple sessions are usually required, and a test session is often performed first to determine effectiveness.

4. Can skin spots be removed with laser?

Laser treatment is generally not suitable for diffuse facial spots like melasma or pregnancy spots, as it can sometimes worsen them. The Q-switched Nd laser can be used for people with fair skin and surface blemishes in combination with drug treatment. Tiny spots like freckles can be treated with laser.

5. Does laser have an effect on pregnancy?

No, laser light does not have a destructive effect on the reproductive system and does not cause infertility. However, laser hair removal is not recommended during pregnancy.

6. Does laser treatment cause cancer?

No, there is no connection between laser treatment and cancer. Laser light is a specific wavelength focused on the skin for purposes like hair removal and does not have carcinogenic effects.

7. Does laser lipolysis cause weight loss?

No, laser lipolysis is not a method for weight loss but is used for reducing size by targeting locally accumulated subcutaneous fat in areas like the flanks, abdomen, armpits, back, inner thighs, and knees.

8. How long does fat injection last?

In one session of face and cheek fat injection, about 20 cc of fat is injected. Of this, only 30-40% remains after a few weeks. Therefore, it might be necessary to repeat the injection with intervals of 2-6 months.

9. Can genital warts be treated?

Yes, genital warts can be treated with multiple cryotherapy (freezing) sessions at three-week intervals. However, the risk of transmission or recurrence is not entirely eliminated.
