Dr. Mojtaba Ameli is a distinguished urologist specializing in kidney and urinary tract surgery in Tehran. Born in 1981 in Mashhad, he completed his medical education at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, where he graduated with high honors and was a member of the National Elite Foundation. After his general medical studies, he pursued a specialty in urology at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, where he excelled academically, graduating with the fourth rank in the national specialized board exam in 2013.
Dr. Ameli then completed a subspecialty in Endo-Urology at Iran University of Medical Sciences and underwent advanced training at Shahid Hasheminejad Hospital in Tehran, where he focused on minimally invasive surgical techniques like laparoscopy and endourology. Currently, he practices at Erfan Niayesh Hospital in Tehran, where he has established a record of performing over 1,000 kidney stone surgeries in the last five years, a notable achievement in both Iran and internationally.
