Dr. Arda Kiani is a highly accomplished pulmonologist with extensive expertise in interventional pulmonology and bronchoscopy. He completed his general medical education at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in 1993 and pursued his residency in internal medicine at Iran University of Medical Sciences from 1999 to 2004. Following this, he obtained his subspecialty in invasive pulmonary procedures and bronchoscopy at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in 2006.
Dr. Kiani holds several prominent positions, including Associate Professor at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Head of the Interventional Pulmonology and Bronchoscopy Department at Dr. Massih Daneshvari Hospital. He also leads the Invasive Lung and Thoracic Oncology Department within the Iranian Society of Thoracic Surgeons. His expertise is widely recognized, as he serves on the Board of Directors at the Iranian Lung Society and acts as a medical and forensic expert for medical malpractice cases.
In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Kiani is actively involved in research. He is a member of the Research Council at the Center for Research on Lung Diseases, the Chronic Respiratory Disease Research Center, and the Sarcoidosis Research Group at Dr. Massih Daneshvari Hospital. He is affiliated with numerous international organizations, including the American College of Chest Physicians, the European Respiratory Society, and the World Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology.
