Dr. Afsoun Seddighi is a highly regarded neurosurgeon and spine specialist based in Tehran, where she serves as a prominent professor at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Seddighi’s expertise lies in microscopic surgery for brain and spinal cord tumors, degenerative spine conditions, and endoscopic surgery for skull base tumors, including pituitary tumors. She is also skilled in repairing skull base lesions and is known for being one of the leading figures in microscopic and endoscopic brain surgeries in Iran.
In her distinguished career, Dr. Seddighi has pioneered the use of advanced surgical techniques, such as gamma probes and navigation systems in brain tumor surgery.
