Dr. Mohammad Ghorbani is an experienced neurosurgeon who currently works at the Division of Neurosurgery at Firoozgar University Hospital. He has a strong background in cerebrovascular diseases, with a focus on clinical and basic science research related to intracranial aneurysms, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and cerebral vasospasm. Over the course of his career, Dr. Ghorbani has also developed extensive expertise in the endoscopic approach to treating pituitary and skull base tumors, hydrocephalus, intracranial and intraventricular tumors, as well as trigeminal neuralgia.
Dr. Ghorbani’s educational journey includes earning his general medical degree from Zahedan University of Medical Sciences in 2000 and board certification in neurosurgery from Iran University of Medical Sciences in 2008, where he ranked first. He further advanced his skills in neurosurgery at Paris Descartes University, where he earned additional certifications in cerebrovascular radiology and interventional neuroradiology from Pierre et Marie Curie University in Paris, France.
His research interests are vast, covering brain and spinal vascular diseases, brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), brain and spinal tumors, and the application of microsurgery and minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Ghorbani is a leader in the field of neurosurgery, with a deep commitment to advancing care for patients with complex neurological conditions.
