Dr. Meisam Rezaei is a highly trained sports medicine physician with a strong background in both general and specialized medical care for athletes. After obtaining his medical degree from Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in 2014, Dr. Rezaei pursued a specialization in sports medicine at Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, where he completed his program in 2016 and earned a specialized board certification in sports medicine.
Dr. Rezaei has extensive experience working with high-profile athletes and teams, having served as the official physician for the Omid national football team, as well as for Premier League teams such as Gol Gohar, Nasaji, and Pikan. In his role, he focuses on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and optimizing athletic performance. Since 2015, he has also represented IFMARK in conducting orthopedic examinations for Premier League players during the pre-season.
His experience extends beyond direct sports medicine practice; Dr. Rezaei has served as Director of the Assistant Office of the Medical System Organization (2018-2019) and as a resident in sports medicine at Rasool Akram Hospital from 2015 to 2019. His commitment to healthcare access led him to establish a sports medicine clinic in Khuzestan province to support athletes in underserved areas.
