Dr. Farideh Najafi is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon based in Isfahan and one of the few women in Iran to hold a specialized board certification in bone and joint surgery. She is widely respected for her clinical expertise, academic achievements, and service to underserved communities.
She began her academic journey at the prestigious Farzanegan Amin School for Gifted Students in Isfahan. In 2002, after earning an impressive rank of 133 in the national university entrance exam, she entered Tehran University of Medical Sciences, graduating in 2010 with honors.
Due to her outstanding academic performance, Dr. Najafi was accepted directly into the orthopedic surgery program at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in 2010. She completed her training in 2014, earning her specialty board certificate and ranking second in the national board’s written exam.
Academic Distinction
Dr. Najafi is the first orthopedic resident in Iran whose thesis was cited in the globally renowned Rockwood 2020 Orthopedic Reference Book — a major international achievement that highlights her contribution to the field.
Clinical Experience
From 2014 to 2017, Dr. Najafi performed over 1,000 orthopedic surgeries in underserved areas of Khuzestan Province, providing life-changing care in regions with limited access to specialists. Since 2017, she has been practicing in Isfahan and is currently affiliated with Asgariyeh and Milad Hospitals.
