Education and Academic Background
Dr. Sarkarat graduated in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, one of Iran’s top medical universities.
In 2003 , at the age of 31, he ranked first in the National Board Examination of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a milestone that marked the beginning of his distinguished medical and academic journey.
Soon after, he joined Bouali Hospital in Tehran, where he founded and led the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2008 .
In addition to his clinical career, Dr. Sarkarat is deeply passionate about teaching. He became an Associate Professor at age 31, emphasizing that he has “always loved teaching more than practicing medicine.”
