Dr. Shahrzad Ossare is a highly accomplished nephrologist and professor of medicine, currently serving as the head of the nephrology and hemodialysis ward at Hasheminejad Kidney Center, affiliated with Iran University of Medical Sciences. With an extensive background in kidney disease management and treatment, Dr. Ossare plays a pivotal role in both clinical and academic nephrology. She is also the director of the Nephrology and Fellowship Program at Hasheminejad Kidney Center, where she oversees the training of future nephrologists.
In addition to her leadership roles in Iran, Dr. Ossare holds key positions in international nephrology organizations. She is the Secretary General of the Iranian Society of Nephrology and a council member of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN). She also chairs the Middle East Regional Board of the ISN, contributing to the advancement of kidney care in the region.
