Dr. Hossein Dehghan Manshadi is a distinguished specialist in pediatric endocrinology, metabolism and growth disorders in children based in Tehran. Born in the year 1971 in the city of Yazd, Iran, his family name “Manshadi” reflects his Yezdi roots. Following secondary education at Kiakhservi High School in Yazd in 1990, he entered the Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) with a national rank of 167, completing his medical degree in 1998 and his pediatric specialty in 2003.
After five years of service as a pediatric physician in the underserved region of Torbat Jam, Dr. Dehghan Manshadi pursued subspecialty training in Pediatric Endocrinology, Metabolism & Growth at the +98. In 2012 he successfully obtained the board (fellowship) in Pediatric Endocrinology & Metabolism from Mashhad University, graduating with distinction (score 84 / 100).
Currently, Dr. Dehghan Manshadi serves as a faculty member and assistant professor at the AJA University of Medical Sciences (Army Medical Sciences University) in Tehran, practicing at the Family and Golestan hospitals. Every one of his three academic theses — at the general medicine, pediatrics and subspecialty levels — was completed with an excellent grade of 19.5 out of 20. Notably, his research includes publication of a paper on a novel mutation in the AIRE gene in patients with autoimmune polyendocrine syndrome type I.
